All of the Gems in the following pages were cut by me. I use a combination of
faceting styles. The traditional style of flat facets and a combination of flat and
concave faceting. The combinations style will be listed by each gem.
Aquamarine
Aquamarine is the birthstone for March, it has a fine dark to light blue
to bluish green color, it generally has clean to lightly included clarity. It
is a member of the Beryl family along with Emerald, Morganite, Heliodor, Goshenite and
Bixbite.
Rough Diamonds
Diamond the birthstone for April, it is the hardest know substance to man,
with durability and beauty to be called the King and Queen of Gems.
One of the garnet family's finest materials, Rhodolite is a light to
dark purplish red through reddish purple. It is available in melee to 10+ ct sizes.
The most popular size range is the 4 to 6 ct size.

One of the most popular gems due to the range of color and quality
available in the tourmaline family. From fine blue to the red and green tourmalines,
are available in all the popular sizes.

Is the birthstone for August, it has a hardness of 6.5 to 7 which is
hard enough to be used in most jewelry items. In recent years beautiful greens have
been coming from, Pakistan and China. In the U.S. most all the cutable goods come
from the San Carlos reservation in Arizona.

This family of gem material contains a couple of the most popular gems,
Amethyst and Citrine. Quartz is an abundant material, which makes the gemstones it
produces available to all. This material will also produce extremely large
gems. Its main attributes are is beautiful color and durability.
